Oops started a new project

Oops started a new project instead of finishing something, but I have finished it.

Spotlight had 40% off hungry caterpillar and gumnut babies fabric.

Finish A UFO Challenge

I'm participating in thecraftymummy's finish a ufo challenge. This month I'm meant to pick one of my many Un Finished Objects or projects to finish.  The only thing I cant decide on which one.

I'm thinking my coin quilt (from 2009) which has been sitting on my desk for many many months waiting to be quilted, or last years happy embroidery which is a bit more portable and I wouldn't be restricted as to where I could do it.  But then there is my Dandelyne mini embroidery hoop necklace that I only started a couple of weeks ago - This would be the quickest to finish.

 

The long weekend is coming up - maybe I can get something finished then.

Week 21

Make a tree

On the weekend we went into the city and Josh collected some fallen autumn leaves and some more. We came home with a big bag full!

So we made a tree. 

Take a large piece of paper and draw a tree trunk and branches and tape your leaves on.

We hung it on the wall and a few of the leaves have fallen off just like a real tree.
